MatejK992SLO Dominates Sunday Million
Slovenian MatejK992SLO took the chip lead into yesterday’s PokerStars Sunday Million final table and never let up.
The Sunday Million, as usual, didn’t disappoint with 7,401 runners and a $1.4 million prize pool.
MatejK992SLO started with 20 million chips, which was more than double his closest competition.
About the only mistake he may have made at the final table was agreeing to a six-way chop. He took the largest portion but he would have won the entire $222k first place prize if he went for it.
Instead MatejK992SLO ended up beating m0rtengud heads-up to take down a total of $177k.
The Team PokerStars Pros were nearly shut out of yesterday’s Sunday Million with only Andre Akkari, Johnny Lodden and Pat Pezzin making small cashes.
